ödp Munich requests 500-Euro-Förderung for the conversion of Diesel to vegetable oil enterprise

ödp drives exemplary with regional vegetable oil (openPR) - Munich, 15.1.07. After the town councillor request ödp the city Munich is to promote the re-equipment of vehicles on the enterprise with vegetable oil. Per diesel engined vehicle ödp the sum of 500 euro suggests. The resident of Munich city chairman Martin Kraus describes the youngest ödp Stadtratsantrag: „Reequipped vehicles can refuel vegetable oil and Diesel in each mixing proportion. We strengthen with it the domestic Kfz handicraft and the Bavarian agriculture, which produce the necessary rapeseel oil. We support in addition the substantial CO2-Reduktionsziele of the city Munich and we reduce the dependence on oil imported goods. “

The residents of Munich CSU in December had only demanded to change the urban vehicle park over to the enterprise with vegetable oil. Ödp continues now a step and would like also private and private-economical vehicles to promote.

Technically the vegetable oil enterprise works already for many years in the practical application, because vegetable oil exhibits the Diesel fuel (9.8 kWh/l) a comparable power density (9.3 kWh/l), thus remains handling and acceleration identically. The fuel consumption does not change likewise. A re-equipment is however necessary.
