One of the high points of this 10 days continuous Events in the dance house North-Rhine/Westphalia the workshop e.v was naturally directly the Eröffnungsgala. International names such as Lulu Sabongi, Shahrazad, Gamal soap, Semiramis, Magda Kadous and Manis promised already from the beginning an eastern show of the extra class on tänzerisch highest level. Bewitched and into the world of 1001 night were kidnapped the visitors from the first second on by Shahrazads of dances from Usbekistan, India and Egypt. Because as next point of program a further highlight: Ennussah - classically beautiful elegance with a classically eastern dance „delly ya delly “. A wonderful Aufritt of a charismatischen dancer with perfect technology and extreme expression strength, gracefully and bezaubernd beautifully. Many admiring words over your appearance heard one in the break and after Showende still - although the Tango Orientalfusion let Raks Tango “a little on „a fire “and passion miss „. Perhaps it was because of the selection of quite coldly working „Tanzschultangotakten “. One the numerous Argentine Tangos, which invite formally to Hagallas and Majas, would have been perhaps a better music choice - if naturally also much more complicated for the untrained listener. I have a dream of the perfect classical-Egyptian dancer personally actually already for years in the head. I knew always exactly, then she must dance to be over perfect…. but I had never a name, never a face to my dream… it seemed in each case a dream to remain. But as I then Magda Kadous the stage saw and the first clocks of the music „That entered el Sheback “its dance (Baladi) accompanied, knew I: THAT is an classical-Egyptian dancer absolutely. Thus I dreamed of the perfect dancer - and apparently with me more than 300 spectators. One cannot describe Magda Kadous actually - she is absolutely perfect. It is the embodiment of the classically Egyptian dance in person. One must have seen and experience it simple over know, what perfectly classically Egyptian dance is. Absolutely fantastically, strong, dynamically, expression-strongly - it proved completely clearly also with its further appearance (Egyptian folklore - Melaya Laff too „banat bayati) in the second Showteil!

A far dream, a dream in white, followed directly in the connection: Gamila danced very lyrically, very softly, flowing and wonderfully harmoniously too „el to Malika “a classically eastern dance. Nearly it seemed to float over the stage and the public to charms. It reminded here - paired with their technical perfection - much of the large Ballerinen in Giselle and let the inspired viewer space and time around itself forget. But Bollywoodklänge got one fast in here and now: Sophia Chariarse began this evening your appearances with „minnat kare “. Impressing their Mimik and its wonderful, infinitely deeply working eyes, which it used skillfully. A Pas de deux so devotedly danced that it hunts as a spectator a wohligen shower over the Köper for one. A danced dream. With each step, each clock one the breath came to a hold, because one did not want to miss the fraction of one second of this grandiosen appearance or this wanted to disturb „Liebespaar of the evening “. A wonderfully expression-strong and bezaubernd beautiful Manis - strong and furios dancing Gamal soap - here one, a fairy tale from 1001 believed night to reality became. Tosender applause, Bravo calls, a public except edge and volume - that was the fair wages for this dance! Fortunately only break and not already end were this Showabends after this appearance - thus there was further possibility this new pair of dreams of the eastern dance to experience still another „live on of steam turbine and gas turbine systems “, this time modern and more impudently danced: „new look - fits “- my judgement: it fits! Not only perfectly in the program!
But after the break there was only once a further tänzerisches highlight to admire as it were a dancing jewel: Raksan danced to the classical music of Salome a modern eastern dance, whereby she showed so many new expression-strong and experimental elements that one noticed immediately: This woman does not dance simply only - she lives the dance! It dances, because the blood in your veins dances. Everyone times if I Raksan dancing see, has it changed and improves - nevertheless one always remain the same: I hope everyone times, their dance may never end…
But unfortunately went not only Raksans dance to end, but also the entire Showabend. Natural still the wonderful appearance of the Trios El Azhar is to be mentioned! Manis, Semiramis and Gamila danced a feather/spring fan dance with impressing varied Choreographie and nevertheless with typical handwriting of these three outstanding dancers.
